Endodontics is a critical dental treatment method applied in the treatment of the inflammation or infection of the pulp tissue inside the tooth, aiming to save the tooth without extraction. Root canal treatment has the goal of protecting the tooth and making it long-lasting by cleaning the infected or damaged tissue inside the tooth. In addition, regenerative endodontics supports dental development by providing revitalisation especially in young permanent teeth.
Single-canal treatment is a classic method applied in single-rooted teeth (for example front teeth).
Treatment in multi-canal teeth may involve different difficulties depending on the number of roots. Especially in teeth with little preparation, it is important that each canal is cleaned separately.
Sometimes, when the expected success is not achieved in the first root canal treatment or a re-infection develops, the tooth may need root canal re-treatment.
Regenerative endodontics, applied in young permanent teeth while root development is not yet complete, supports the natural development process of the tooth and encourages the regeneration of the pulp tissue and root length.
