What is Inlay / Onlay (Lab-Supported, Porcelain or Composite)?

Inlay and onlay fillings are fillings used for large-scale tooth damage or decay, specially produced in a laboratory setting. Prepared from porcelain or composite materials, inlays and onlays restore the function and aesthetics that the teeth have lost. They are preferred especially for repairing large damage and cavities that occur on the chewing surfaces of the teeth.
